Inspired by my psychedelic experiences with Iboga back at a Canadian retreat in 2019 and a spiritual experience I had with a rose last year in 2025.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe whole layout of the painting is inspired by Grateful Dead poster art and by @musicneverstopped. I am very thankful for their help and giving me a chance to sell my art and for their super chill, loving vibes and music.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe brown rustic skull represents a dead past. The woman in gold is a cosmic sun goddess coming out of the yellow, red, and white sun, overseeing and stepping over the skull's disintegration back into the Earth. Within the sun is Jesus Christ, accompanied by his two angels after overcoming death. These visions came from ingesting Iboga, separately appearing while I was thinking of the sun and Jesus. The skull vision came on its own with a message, saying the past is dead as it was crumbling away into the ground.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe roses represent sacred feminine energy as well as the powerful nature of interconnectedness in my life. A friend of mine gave me a rose last year that I decided to give it as much love and care as I could, knowing it doesn't live long. Having it by my window there was a little sparrow that landed right on top of the rose and immediately flew away as I saw it, not tipping over it or harming it at all. I thought that was beautiful and truly unusual. Within that span of time, a sweet Catholic woman gave me a rosary literally made out of roses from Italy with a sweet scent that came off the beads. Very powerful energy, and synchronicity with the Rose 🌹.
